Although we both use the one username on here, this site is a team effort by Kerry-Anne and Ian. Generally Ian writes the content, and Kerry-Anne looks after the technical side of things.
We have been closed for a long time due to illness in the family, but we are now back and in the process of relaunching the site.
We would like to thank everyone that has supported the family in prayer, and ask that they will continue to do so. We also would like to thank everyone who sent us emails of encouragement while the site was closed. It has all been very much appreciated and will continue to be appreciated.

Hi Ian and Kerry-Anne, I’m born again as was considering joining but had a couple of questions first. How long have you guys been in operation? How many members are there and what is the ratio of baptized believers to those still in darkness; just a rough approximation if possible? To be perfectly candid though, I’m sick and tired of so-called “Christian” forums but now diligently working to restore some of them, God willing. Sadly, I’ve found them to be more demonic perhaps than holy. “Indeed I believe the Internet may be the devil’s greatest work of deception perhaps second only to the antichrist that will dupe the entire world?” It’s mostly controlled hypocrisy and Loudmouth believers puffing themselves up feigning to be humble biblical scholars but the minute you test their spiritual mettle, they kick you out.:) Laughable really, if it wasn’t so deadly serious and I’m certain the devil has a stranglehold on most physical Christian churches in earth too but at least you can look “those believers” in eye and maybe even talk with them?
Unfortunately, the people who started those forums were probably naïve at best and though their ‘intentions’ might have been sincere, they didn’t take James 3:8 into proper account. Not to mention the ‘anonymity they granted members and as such, you’ll find over 90% of members hiding behind Alias Usernames in these forums because they’re cowards and probably not Christians at all? So if your forum is mostly hiding behind aliases, I’m afraid it too is likely full of more false brethren than true ones? Which is not an judgment of You Two either because ‘you seem to be’ genuinely concerned believers.
But facts are facts and as God is “our” witness, I firmly believe that people who cannot even divulge their real First names are indeed “hiding from something” and that can be none other than hiding from God’s truth.
Please let me know if this is the case in your forum so I’m not wasting God’s time/my time posturing with hypocrites. Because I’d love to join with “you” in the good fight trapping lost souls for Christ to clean but if you believe Jesus would want his disciples using aliases to preach the gospel on the Internet, then we are not like-minded in Christ.
However, I’ make you guys this pledge of support in His name and it would probably be “a first in so-called Christian Internet forums”. If your forum is actually cloaked by a majority of members using Aliases, here’s a suggestion. Instead of having forum Rules and Standards of conduct, why not let God’s Power Rule your forum as it should be and as it really is whether you think it is or not?
In other words, make an Announcement on your forum that “aliases for Christians only” will no longer be used because after further consideration and prayer, “you” believe it is a form of deception and that Christians have the Armor of God and therefore do not require alias Usernames. You also announce that Everyone in the forum must Re-register because by a certain date, you are going to terminate all memberships and start fresh! As well, all members who call their self Christians must also provide their Home telephone number and mailing address when they re-register which will be kept private of course. Naturally, you’re not going to call anyone but just by asking for this information from “so-called honest Christians”, just you watch and see how many members won’t re-enlist in the forum. I’ll bet you’ll be astonished at how few Christians will actually give that information and how few people will actually re-register?
I think you would agree this would indeed be a true test of mettle for your forum but more important, it would show God that “you” trust him completely to take proper care of the forum. Rather than You Two trying to play Judge, Jury and Executioner over his children. It would also show me that You Two truly have faith and trust that “God” will weed out the wolves, antichrists and false brethren and lead the lost out of darkness and nurture his elect whoever they may be in the forum.
If you guys would do it, I’d be honored to be part of a Christian Internet Movement like that. Also be happy to have a phone conversation with you about “that”. Let me know? But if you do nothing, then yours is just another man-contrived forum which is run by man and ruled by man, not God and I’m not interested in that. Blessings.
Michael
Hi Michael,
We changed the site from a traditional forum to a blog about 18 months ago as unfortunately we found that we were struggling for time to keep the site updated and moderated to the levels that we originally set out to achieve.
We are praying that God will give us both the time to update the site more often and the inspiration for messages that should be placed on the site.
While I understand your concerns about the site and moderation used, most of the moderation is done automatically by the system then when either myself or Ian get chance we can go through anything that is pending moderation and as long as it isn’t spam then it is published. As such, and as this isn’t a forum despite the name of the site, we do not have rules and standards of conduct and we trust and pray that any comments we do receive are based on the articles that we have been able to publish so far.
Personally, before starting this site and also since doing so, I too have been troubled when visiting other Christian websites as a lot of the ones that I have seen have been very far from spreading the Good News and Scripture and have been more concerned with either the site owners ego, or other completely un-Christian behaviours. In fact, I have seen one site that was more interested in spreading hate and promoting illegal activities than anything else, yet was supposedly a Christian teaching site. While not all Christian websites are like this and there are a number of very useful ones if you look hard enough, I can understand why you are asking these things especially if your experience of other websites have been similar to mine.
We don’t require membership to comment on this site, and because of the time constraints placed upon us we don’t allow other people to post articles as we simply do not have time to moderate the content which is why we changed from a forum software to this blog instead.
If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask but please be aware that we will only see them when we get chance to get onto the site ourselves.
God Bless,
Kerry-Anne
